ActCAD License Types

ActCAD licenses are perpetual and offered in multiple ways to suit your needs. Explained below various license types:

1. Key Based License

• A unique serial number will be provided for Software activation over internet
• License can be transferred to some other computer using "License Transfer" command
• There is no limit on number of License Transfers
• Internet connection needed during activation and deactivation
• One license will work only in computer at a given point of time
• Offline activation is supported in case internet connection not available in client computer
• No need to connect user computer to Local Network
• License usage details can be monitored on Client Login portal

2. Network Floating License

• License(s) can be used in Local Area Network
• Network license server can be activated using either License Keys or USB Dongle
• One License will work in any one computer in network at a given point of time
• Any regular computer can be used as ActCAD Network License Server
• Windows Server OS is also supported

3. Live License

• License is controlled by ActCAD Cloud License Server
• Authorize upto Five Computers per License in Client Login area
• One License will work in any one computer over internet at a given point of time
• No need of activation or deactivation
• Once you exit ActCAD, license will be transferred back to cloud server automatically
• License can be used in any global location
• This method is ideal for changing work locations
• Internet connection is needed always in client computer for License Communication

* Dongle Based License is also available but it is not preferable due to the delay on the shipping. 

• USB Dongle will be sent physically to client
• Install software in any Windows based computer, connect USB dongle and use the software
• Dongle can be shifted to any computer and no need to uninstall/reinstall the software
• No need to contact us even if the computer is formatted or crashed
• No need of internet or LAN connection
• If USB dongle is damaged, a new USB dongle can be purchased. But if dongle is lost, client needs to buy new license

Details for the key based 

• ​Perpetual and valid for life-time, future upgrades are optional.
• Licenses are valid in any global location, Buy Anywhere Use Anywhere.
• Self License Transfer between computers unlimited times. No need to uninstall and reinstall the software.
• There is no need to fill the form data from second time, data will be captured automatically.
• Deactivation: In ActCAD, simply type the command LICENSETRANSFER and press enter. It will automatically complete the deactivation process without asking any other details.
• License key will remain same for 64bit and 32bit versions. You can use different versions on different computers and use same license between them.
• One license will work only in computer at a given point of time.
• Internet connection required during Activation and Deactivation.
• No need to connect the computers in LAN network.
• We do support OFFLINE ACTIVATION also, but License Transfer won't work in this case.
• ActCAD users can use any lower version of Software using the same license key. Using higher version key on any lower version is permitted and is legal.

Commercial and Educational versions

Corporate Licensing​

• ActCAD offers Corporate Licensing for large installation basis.
• ActCAD will issue a single Corporate License Key with desired activations limit.
• Software can be used at one more global locations of customer.
• Customer can take advantage of Self License Transfer tool shift licenses between locations.
• ActCAD Corporate license will provide best utilization of software licenses at multiple locations.
• ActCAD will offer priority Technical support to its Corporate customers.
• Our corporate license packs start from 25 and above.

Education Licensing​

• ActCAD offers exclusive low price for Govt. recognized Educational Institutes.
• ActCAD will issue a single License Key with desired activations limit.
• Licenses can be used by Faculty and Students for their Education and Research Projects.
• Education Institutes can become "ActCAD Authorized Training Partners" at no extra cost.
• Student certifications are free and are globally valid.
• Upgrade to future versions of ActCAD is FREE.
• Free course material will be provided by us in Soft Copies.
• Education Institutes can use ActCAD brand in all their marketing materials.

Training Licenses​

• ActCAD offers special prices for commercial training institutes.
• ActCAD will issue a single License Key with desired activations limit.
• Education Institutes can become "ActCAD Authorized Training Partners" at no extra cost.
• Student certifications are free and are globally valid.
• Free course material will be provided by us in the form of Soft Copies.
• Commercial Training Partners can use ActCAD brand in all their marketing materials.
